Finance Code § 154.158","heading":"ENFORCEMENT OF CONTRACT.","body":"A seller that violates Section 154.101 may not enforce a prepaid funeral benefits contract, but the purchaser or an heir or legal representative of the purchaser is entitled to recover:\n(1) the amount paid to the seller under the contract; and\n(2) the amount paid to a fund or for an investment, security, or contract, including a contract or policy of insurance authorized by the Texas Department of Insurance.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
