Finance Code § 156.402","heading":"CIVIL ACTIONS AND INJUNCTIVE RELIEF.","body":"(a) A mortgage applicant injured by a violation of this chapter may bring an action for recovery of actual monetary damages and reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.\n(b) The commissioner, the attorney general, or a mortgage applicant may bring an action to enjoin a violation of this chapter.\n(c) A remedy provided by this section is in addition to any other remedy provided by law.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1254, Sec. 2, eff.
