Finance Code § 16.004","heading":"AUDITS.","body":"This chapter does not affect the duty of the state auditor to audit a financial regulatory agency. The state auditor shall enter into a contract and schedule with each financial regulatory agency to conduct audits, including financial reports and performance audits. The financial regulatory agency shall reimburse the state auditor for all costs incurred in performing the audits and shall provide to the governor a copy of any audit performed.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1317 (H.B. 2774), Sec. 28(a), eff.
