Finance Code § 33.007","heading":"CIVIL ENFORCEMENT; CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) If the banking commissioner believes that a person has violated or is about to violate this subchapter or a rule of the finance commission or order of the banking commissioner pertaining to this subchapter, the attorney general on behalf of the banking commissioner may apply to a district court of Travis County for an order enjoining the violation and for other equitable relief the nature of the case requires.\n(b) A person who knowingly fails or refuses to file the application required by Section 33.002 commits an offense.
