Finance Code § 345.202","heading":"CREDIT LIFE, CREDIT HEALTH AND ACCIDENT, AND CREDIT INVOLUNTARY UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE.","body":"(a) As additional protection for the contract or agreement, a holder may:\n(1) request or require a retail buyer to provide credit life insurance and credit health and accident insurance; and\n(2) request or allow a retail buyer to provide credit involuntary unemployment insurance.\n(b) A holder may include the cost of insurance provided under Subsection (a) as a separate charge in the contract or agreement.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
