Finance Code § 348.511","heading":"EFFECT OF LICENSE SUSPENSION, REVOCATION, OR SURRENDER.","body":"(a) The suspension, revocation, or surrender of a license issued under this chapter does not affect the obligation of a contract between the license holder and a retail buyer entered into before the suspension, revocation, or surrender.\n(b) Surrender of a license does not affect the license holder's civil or criminal liability for an act committed before surrender.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1235, Sec. 18, eff.
