Finance Code § 371.066","heading":"TEMPORARY LICENSE.","body":"(a) The commissioner may issue a temporary pawnshop license on receipt of an application:\n(1) to transfer a license from one person to another; or\n(2) for a license involving principals and owners that are substantially identical to those of a pawnshop in operation at the time of receipt of the application.\n(b) A temporary license is effective until a permanent license is issued or denied.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
