Finance Code § 371.102","heading":"ELIGIBILITY.","body":"(a) To be eligible for a pawnshop employee license, an individual must:\n(1) be of good business repute;\n(2) possess the character and general fitness necessary to warrant belief that the individual will operate the business lawfully and fairly under this chapter; and\n(3) be employed by a pawnbroker that participates in the pawnshop employee license program under Section 371.101.\n(b) For purposes of a disqualification under Chapter 53, Occupations Code, the commissioner is a licensing authority.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
