Finance Code § 371.175","heading":"PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION TAGS REQUIRED.","body":"(a) A pawnshop shall identify by a tag or similar means each item of goods located in the pawnshop that:\n(1) has a retail or sale value of more than $25; and\n(2) can be tagged or similarly identified.\n(b) This section does not apply to:\n(1) the personal effects of a person in the pawnshop; or\n(2) furniture, fixtures, or equipment of the pawnshop.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
