Finance Code § 392.402","heading":"CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (d), a person commits an offense if the person violates this chapter.\n(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $100 or more than $500 for each violation.\n(c) A misdemeanor charge under this section must be filed not later than the first anniversary of the date of the alleged violation.\n(d) This section does not apply to a violation of Section 392.307.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
