Finance Code § 62.006","heading":"HEARING ON APPLICATION TO INCORPORATE.","body":"(a) On the filing of a complete application to incorporate, the commissioner shall:\n(1) issue public notice of the application; and\n(2) give any interested person an opportunity to appear, present evidence, and be heard for or against the application.\n(b) A hearing officer designated by the commissioner shall preside over the hearing.\n(c) The hearing officer shall file with the commissioner a report on the hearing. The report must:\n(1) specify findings of fact on each condition described by Section 62.007(a); and\n(2) identify the evidence that forms the basis for the findings.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
