Finance Code § 62.556","heading":"APPEAL TO COMMISSIONER OF DENIAL.","body":"(a) If the commissioner denies an application, the applicant is entitled to a hearing if the applicant submits a written request for a hearing not later than the later of:\n(1) the 30th day after the date the application is filed; or\n(2) the 15th day after the date the application is denied.\n(b) Not later than the 30th day after the date the hearing is closed, the commissioner shall enter a final order affirming or withdrawing the denial of the application.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
