Finance Code § 63.002","heading":"ENLARGEMENT OF POWERS.","body":"Notwithstanding any other provision of this subtitle, an association may:\n(1) perform a function or engage in an activity, including making a loan or investment, to the same extent as a federal association;\n(2) raise capital in the same manner and form as a federal association;\n(3) issue a certificate in the same form as a federal association; or\n(4) pay a dividend, earnings, or interest on a certificate in the same manner as a federal association.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
