Government Code § 1201.023","heading":"UNCERTIFICATED BOOK-ENTRY ISSUANCE.","body":"(a) The governing body of an issuer may provide for a book-entry record of ownership of a public security issued by the issuer. A public security may be issued in uncertificated book-entry form.\n(b) The record of ownership of a public security issued in uncertificated book-entry form may be kept by the issuer or an agent of the issuer.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
