{"data":{"id":"us-tx/tex.-government-code-1231.025","jurisdiction":"us-tx","citation":"Tex. Government Code § 1231.025","heading":"LOCAL BOND ELECTION INFORMATION.","body":"(a) Not later than the 20th day before election day for an election to authorize a local government to issue bonds, the local government shall submit a report to the board that includes:\n(1) the date of the election;\n(2) the proposition number for each bond proposition;\n(3) the total estimated cost of the issuance of each proposed bond;\n(4) the estimated minimum dollar amount required to be annually expended for debt service;\n(5) a description of the purpose of each bond proposition; and\n(6) any other information the board determines necessary.\n(b) Not later than the 20th day after election day for an election to authorize a local government to issue bonds, the local government shall submit a report to the board that includes:\n(1) the total number of votes cast for each bond proposition;\n(2) the total number of votes in support of the bond proposition;\n(3) the total number of votes against the bond proposition;\n(4) any updated information different from the information provided to the board under Subsection (a), if applicable; and\n(5) any other information the board determines necessary.\n(c) The board shall publish a report on the results of an election to authorize a local government to issue bonds on the board's Internet website.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 226 (H.B. 3526), Sec. 2, eff.
