Government Code § 1232.004","heading":"STATE LEASE FUND ACCOUNT.","body":"(a) The state lease fund account is an account in the general revenue fund and may be used only for a purpose designated by law.\n(b) The state lease fund account may be used to finance an appropriation to the commission or a state agency or directly to the authority on behalf of a state agency to pay required rents, fees, and installments to the authority.\n(c) After all obligations have been paid or provided for, the legislature may transfer money deposited in the state lease fund account to the Texas capital trust fund account for other purposes.\n(d) The amount in the state lease fund account that is in excess of amounts needed for debt service and is unencumbered shall be transferred at the end of each biennium to the undedicated portion of the general revenue fund.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
