Government Code § 1373.005","heading":"AUTHORITY TO ISSUE OBLIGATIONS.","body":"Notwithstanding any other law, as authorized and approved by the governing body of an issuer, obligations may be issued, sold, incurred, and delivered to:\n(1) finance or refinance an eligible project;\n(2) refund obligations, other indebtedness, or contractual obligations of the issuer issued or incurred in connection with an eligible project; and\n(3) pay the costs of issuance or delivery of the obligations.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 494 (S.B. 1261), Sec. 1, eff.
