Government Code § 1432.002","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Bond authorization\" means an ordinance of the governing body of a municipality, a resolution of the board of trustees of an independent school district, or an order of the commissioners court of a county that authorizes the issuance of bonds.\n(2) \"Local government\" means a county, a municipality, or an independent school district.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
