Government Code § 1471.025","heading":"DISBURSEMENT OF BOND PROCEEDS BY COUNTY TREASURER.","body":"(a) The proceeds of county bonds may be paid out only by the county treasurer on warrants:\n(1) drawn on the available road fund;\n(2) issued by the county clerk;\n(3) countersigned by the county judge; and\n(4) on certified accounts approved by the commissioners court.\n(b) The proceeds of bonds issued on the faith and credit of a commissioners or justice precinct or a road district may be paid out only by the county treasurer on warrants:\n(1) drawn on the available road fund of the applicable political subdivision;\n(2) issued by the county clerk;\n(3) countersigned by the county judge; and\n(4) approved by the commissioners court.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
