Government Code § 1473.173","heading":"AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS.","body":"(a) If the bonds were approved at an election ordered before April 27, 1965, the county may issue general obligation bonds to finance:\n(1) the erection, maintenance, expansion, and repair of a building authorized by Section 1473.172; and\n(2) the acquisition of a site and equipment for the building.\n(b) The commissioners court shall issue any bonds under this subchapter in compliance with the applicable provisions of Subtitles A and C.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
