Government Code § 1473.232","heading":"AUTHORITY TO OPERATE CRIME DETECTION FACILITIES; FEES, CHARGES, AND EXPENSES.","body":"(a) The commissioners court of a county may:\n(1) operate and maintain the county's crime detection facilities; and\n(2) impose and collect fees or charges for services performed or information provided to others in the use of the facilities.\n(b) The commissioners court shall pay the operation and maintenance expenses of the facilities from the fees or charges or other available county funds.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
