Government Code § 1504.252","heading":"AUTHORITY FOR CULTURAL AND PARKING FACILITIES.","body":"A municipality may acquire sites for and establish, acquire, lease as lessee or lessor, construct, improve, enlarge, equip, repair, operate, or maintain:\n(1) a cultural facility, such as an opera house, ballet or symphony hall, theater, or similar building;\n(2) a building combining cultural facilities listed in Subdivision (1); or\n(3) a parking facility at or in the immediate vicinity of a cultural facility listed in Subdivision (1) for use in connection with that facility and otherwise for off-street parking or storage of motor vehicles or other conveyances.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
