Government Code § 1505.078","heading":"AUTHORITY FOR TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION EXPENDITURES.","body":"The Texas Department of Transportation, with the approval of the governor, may apply any of the available revenue of the department to aid in:\n(1) the construction, operation, or maintenance of a bridge acquired or constructed under this subchapter, including any approach to the bridge; or\n(2) the acquisition of any property in connection with or in furtherance of those activities.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
