Government Code § 1506.052","heading":"AUTHORITY FOR PARKING FACILITIES.","body":"(a) A municipality may establish, acquire, lease as lessor or lessee, construct, improve, enlarge, equip, repair, operate, or maintain a structure, parking area, parking garage, or facility for off-street parking or storage of motor vehicles or other conveyances.\n(b) The municipality may:\n(1) regulate the use of a facility authorized by Subsection (a); and\n(2) establish charges for use of the facility.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
