Government Code § 1507.002","heading":"ELECTION.","body":"(a) A municipality may not issue bonds under this subchapter unless the bonds are authorized by a majority vote of the qualified voters of the municipality voting at an election held for that purpose.\n(b) A municipality shall hold an election to issue bonds under this subchapter in the manner provided for other bond elections in the municipality.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
