Government Code § 2002.053","heading":"PURCHASE AND RESALE OF ADMINISTRATIVE CODE.","body":"(a) To promote efficiency and economy in state government, the secretary of state may periodically purchase copies of the administrative code for resale and distribution to other branches of state government, state agencies, or institutions.\n(b) The purchase does not require the secretary of state to engage in competitive bidding procedures to enter into the contract or license to publish the code.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
