Government Code § 2051.041","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Governmental entity\" means an institution, board, commission, or department of:\n(A) the state or a subdivision of the state; or\n(B) a political subdivision of the state, including a municipality, a county, or any kind of district.\n(2) \"Governmental representative\" includes an officer, employee, or agent of a governmental entity.\n(3) \"Notice\" means any matter, including a proclamation or advertisement, required or authorized by law to be published in a newspaper by a governmental entity or representative.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
