Government Code § 2155.065","heading":"CONTRACTS WITH DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE.","body":"(a) The comptroller is authorized to make contracts with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the purchase of goods and services for use by another state agency.\n(b) The Texas Department of Criminal Justice shall test goods and services it sells under this section before delivery to the extent necessary to ensure quality. The department may enter into a contract with a private or public entity to assist with testing.\n(c) The comptroller shall make awards under this section based on proposed goods and services meeting formal state specifications developed by the comptroller or meeting commercial specifications approved by the comptroller.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 41, Sec. 1, eff.
