Government Code § 2166.060","heading":"SITE SELECTION AND CONSTRUCTION IN TEXAS MUNICIPALITIES.","body":"(a) The commission may select and purchase a site in a municipality in this state to construct a state office building and adjoining parking spaces if the construction is considered necessary to house a state department or agency in the municipality.\n(b) The commission may plan, construct, and initially equip a state office building and adjoining parking spaces on the site selected and purchased.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 41, Sec. 1, eff.
