Government Code § 2167.052","heading":"LEASING SPACE FROM PRIVATE SOURCE.","body":"(a) Space may be leased from a private source through:\n(1) competitive bidding;\n(2) competitive sealed proposals under Section 2167.054; or\n(3) direct negotiation.\n(b) The commission may negotiate for space on making a written determination that competition is not available.\n(c) The commission shall use the method for leasing space that provides the best value for the state.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 41, Sec. 1, eff.
