Government Code § 2175.362","heading":"DESIGNATED AGENCY; SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT OPERATION OF FEDERAL SURPLUS PROPERTY PROGRAM.","body":"(a) The commission is the designated state agency under 40 U.S.C. Section 549 and any other federal law providing for the disposal of federal surplus property.\n(b) Except for the sharing of support functions with other divisions, the federal surplus property program shall operate independently of the rest of the commission.\n(c) The administrative offices of the federal surplus property program may be located in a building separate from the location of other commission offices.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 41, Sec. 1, eff.
