Government Code § 2177.003","heading":"BOARD.","body":"(a) The initiative is governed by a board composed of five members appointed by the governor.\n(b) The governor shall designate the presiding officer of the board.\n(c) A board member serves without compensation but may be reimbursed for travel and other actual and reasonable expenses incurred in the performance of the member's duties on the board.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 891 (H.B. 4990), Sec. 1, eff.
