Government Code § 2267.0065","heading":"SPECIAL BOARD OF REVIEW.","body":"(a) If the local government denies the rezoning request submitted under this chapter, the matter may be appealed to a special board of review consisting of the following members:\n(1) the land commissioner;\n(2) the mayor of the municipality within whose corporate boundaries or extraterritorial jurisdiction the real property is located;\n(3) the county judge of the county in which the qualifying project is located;\n(4) the executive director of the state entity that proposes to develop or operate the qualifying project; and\n(5) a member appointed by the governor.\n(b) The land commissioner shall serve as the presiding officer of the special board of review.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1153 (S.B. 211), Sec. 25, eff.
