Government Code § 2267.062","heading":"EMINENT DOMAIN.","body":"(a) At the request of the contracting person, the responsible governmental entity may exercise any power of eminent domain that it has under law to acquire any land or property interest to the extent that the responsible governmental entity dedicates the land or property interest to public use and finds that the action serves the public purpose of this chapter.\n(b) Any amounts to be paid in any eminent domain proceeding shall be paid by the contracting person.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1334 (S.B. 1048), Sec. 1, eff.
