Government Code § 2269.151","heading":"CONTRACTS FOR FACILITIES: COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS.","body":"(a) In this chapter, \"competitive sealed proposals\" is a procurement method by which a governmental entity requests proposals, ranks the offerors, negotiates as prescribed, and then contracts with a general contractor for the construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of a facility.\n(b) In selecting a contractor through competitive sealed proposals, a governmental entity shall follow the procedures provided by this subchapter.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1129 (H.B. 628), Sec. 2.08, eff.
