Government Code § 2269.356","heading":"USE OF OTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.","body":"(a) The governmental entity shall provide or contract for, independently of the design-build firm, the following services as necessary for the acceptance of the civil works project by the entity:\n(1) inspection services;\n(2) construction materials engineering and testing; and\n(3) verification testing services.\n(b) The governmental entity shall select the services for which it contracts under this section in accordance with Section 2254.004.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1129 (H.B. 628), Sec. 2.08, eff.
