Government Code § 2306.0321","heading":"APPEAL OF BOARD AND DEPARTMENT DECISIONS.","body":"(a) The board shall adopt rules outlining a formal process for appealing board and department decisions.\n(b) The rules must specify the requirements for appealing a board or department decision, including:\n(1) the persons eligible to appeal;\n(2) the grounds for an appeal;\n(3) the process for filing an appeal, including the information that must be submitted with an appeal;\n(4) a reasonable period in which an appeal must be filed, heard, and decided;\n(5) the process by which an appeal is heard and a decision is made;\n(6) the possible outcomes of an appeal; and\n(7) the process by which notification of a decision and the basis for a decision is given.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1367, Sec. 1.06, eff.
