Government Code § 2306.044","heading":"PENALTY TO BE PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED.","body":"(a) Not later than the 20th day after the date the person receives the notice, the person in writing may:\n(1) accept the determination and recommended penalty of the director; or\n(2) make a request for a hearing before the State Office of Administrative Hearings on the occurrence of the violation, the amount of the penalty, or both.\n(b) If the person accepts the determination and recommended penalty of the director, the board by order shall approve the determination and impose the recommended penalty.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1341 (S.B. 1908), Sec. 10, eff.
