Government Code § 2306.175","heading":"TRANSFER AND DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY; MANNER OF SALE.","body":"(a) The department may:\n(1) sell, assign, lease, encumber, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of real, personal, or mixed property, or an interest in property, or a deed of trust or mortgage lien interest owned by it or in its control, custody, or possession; and\n(2) release or relinquish a right, title, claim, lien, interest, easement, or demand acquired in any manner, including an equity or right of redemption in property foreclosed by it.\n(b) Notwithstanding any other law, the department may, under this section, conduct a public or private sale, with or without public bidding.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
