Government Code § 2306.201","heading":"HOUSING TRUST FUND.","body":"(a) The housing trust fund is a fund:\n(1) administered by the department through the housing finance division; and\n(2) placed with the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company.\n(b) The fund consists of:\n(1) appropriations or transfers made to the fund;\n(2) unencumbered fund balances;\n(3) public or private gifts, grants, or donations;\n(4) investment income, including all interest, dividends, capital gains, or other income from the investment of any portion of the fund;\n(5) repayments received on loans made from the fund; and\n(6) funds from any other source.\n(c) The department may accept gifts, grants, or donations for the housing trust fund. All funds received for the housing trust fund under Subsection (b) shall be deposited or transferred into the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
