Government Code § 2308.060","heading":"EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.","body":"(a) The presiding officer of the council shall appoint an executive director of the council.\n(b) The executive director shall:\n(1) report to the presiding officer of the council;\n(2) perform duties assigned by the council and under state law;\n(3) administer the daily operations of the council;\n(4) appoint officers, accountants, attorneys, experts, and other employees for the council and assign duties for these employees to perform the council's powers and duties under this chapter; and\n(5) delegate authority to persons appointed under this section as the executive director considers to be reasonable and proper for the effective administration of the council.\n(c) The executive director shall adopt the administrative and personnel procedures of the council's fiscal agent.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 5.81(a), eff.
