Government Code § 2308.202","heading":"CONSIDERATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS BY THE GOVERNOR.","body":"(a) The governor shall consider the recommendations submitted under this subchapter.\n(b) The governor shall approve, disapprove, or modify the recommendations.\n(c) The governor shall:\n(1) return the recommendations to the council to be forwarded as appropriate; or\n(2) forward an approved or modified recommendation without returning the recommendation to the council.\n(d) A recommendation that is not approved, disapproved, or modified by the governor before the 60th day after the date the recommendation is submitted shall be considered approved by the governor.\n(e) A recommendation that is approved or modified shall be forwarded to the appropriate agency for implementation.\n(f) A recommendation that is approved or modified and that requires a change in state or federal law shall be forwarded to the appropriate legislative body for its consideration.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 5.81(a), eff.
