Government Code § 2308.251","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Board\" means a local workforce development board.\n(2) \"Veteran\" means a person who:\n(A) has served in:\n(i) the army, navy, air force, coast guard, or marine corps of the United States or the United States Public Health Service under 42 U.S.C. Section 201 et seq., as amended;\n(ii) the Texas military forces as defined by Section 437.001; or\n(iii) an auxiliary service of one of those branches of the armed forces; and\n(B) has been honorably discharged from the branch of the service in which the person served.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 5.81(a), eff.
