Government Code § 24.015","heading":"PROCEDURE AT SPECIAL TERM.","body":"(a) Juries for special terms authorized by Section 24.014 shall be summoned in the manner provided by law for regular terms.\n(b) Any proceeding in a case that may be held at a regular term may also be held at a special term.\n(c) The following procedures in any civil or criminal case are the same and have the same force and effect when done at a special term as though done at a regular term:\n(1) the issuance of process, whether to a regular term or a special term;\n(2) the conduct of proceedings;\n(3) the issuance of an order, judgment, or decree; and\n(4) an appeal.\n(d) A proceeding held at a special term may be appealed as if it were held at a regular term.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
