Government Code § 24.238","heading":"136TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (JEFFERSON COUNTY).","body":"(a) The 136th Judicial District is composed of Jefferson County.\n(b) The terms of the 136th District Court begin on the first Mondays in January and July. The terms are designated the January-June and July-December terms.\n(c) The Jefferson County sheriff or the sheriff's deputy shall attend the court as required by law or by the judge.\n(d) Section 24.160, relating to the 58th District Court, contains provisions applicable to both that court and the 136th District Court.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
