Government Code § 24.267","heading":"174TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY).","body":"(a) The 174th Judicial District is composed of Harris County.\n(b) Subsections (c), (e), and (f) apply to the 174th, 176th, 177th, 178th, and 179th district courts.\n(c) Each of the district courts has concurrent jurisdiction with the other district courts in Harris County.\n(d) Repealed by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1082 (H.B. 3481), Sec. 3, eff. September 1, 2017.\n(e) The judges of the district courts shall, by agreement among themselves, take their vacations alternately so that there are at all times at least six district court judges in the county.\n(f) The Harris County sheriff or the sheriff's deputy shall attend the courts as required by law or by the judges.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
