Government Code § 24.603","heading":"JUDGE.","body":"(a) A family district court judge's qualifications and term of office are the same as those prescribed by the constitution and laws of this state for district judges. A family district court judge is elected in the same manner as a district judge.\n(b) A family district court judge is entitled to the same compensation and allowances provided by the state and county for the other district judges in his county.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
