Government Code § 25.0015","heading":"STATE CONTRIBUTION.","body":"Beginning on the first day of the state fiscal year, the state shall annually compensate each county in an amount equal to 60 percent of the state base salary paid to a district judge as set by the General Appropriations Act in accordance with Section 659.012(a) for each statutory county court judge in the county who:\n(1) does not engage in the private practice of law; and\n(2) presides over a court with at least the jurisdiction provided by Section 25.0003.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 746, Sec. 6, eff.
