January 1, 2012.\n(h) A judge of a statutory probate court shall be paid an annual salary not less than the total annual salary, including supplements, received by a district judge in the county. Each statutory probate court judge is entitled to receive the same amount of compensation. The commissioners court shall pay the salary out of the county treasury.\n(i) Section 25.0027 does not apply to a statutory probate court in Dallas County.\n(j) In addition to the uses authorized by Section 135.159, Local Government Code, fees collected under Section 135.102, Local Government Code, and deposited into the judicial education and support fund may be used by Dallas County for providing staff for the statutory probate courts and for court-related purposes for the support of the statutory probate courts.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 148, Sec. 4.01, eff.
