Government Code § 30.00653","heading":"JOINT COURTS: CREATION.","body":"(a) The governing body of the city may contract with one or more municipalities that have municipal courts of record to establish a joint municipal court of record to serve the contracting municipalities.\n(b) A joint municipal court of record created under this section replaces each municipality's individual municipal court of record.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 653, Sec. 1, eff.
